Sutton's is a Chapel Hill staple that began in 1923 as a drug store with pharmacy services but is now primarily a restaurant and convenience store. It's known for their shakes, burgers, deli sandwiches, breakfast items, and vintage sodas.
This is the oldest restaurant in North Carolina, and it's one of the best on Franklin Street. Anything on their menu is delicious - we went here the morning after we got engaged!
Known for their famous Blue Cups, He's Not Here is where we had our first unofficial date. Make sure you take a photo in front of their postcard mural in the alley!
A gorgeous 5-acre stretch of flowers, trees, and plants on UNC-Chapel Hill's campus. We often walked through here on our way to class!
A cozy book store on Franklin Street. This is a perfect spot for a pastry, coffee, or new read.
This is a great spot to grab breakfast or lunch (especially if you are hungover from celebrating with us). Joe's old house is right down the road!
Named one of the “Best Bourbon Bars in the South” by Garden & Gun magazine, The Crunkleton is a fantastic cocktail lounge. They are known for their massive library-style “liquor wall” and rare liquors you can't get anywhere else in the South.
