Jason and Molly met at Molly's favorite dive bar in Penryn, California, The Valencia Club. The bartender, Kristen, suggested to Jason that he should go sit next to her friend Molly. The 2 closed down the bar chatting about their love for skiing, Giants baseball and Packers Football. After staying up talking and learning about each other until 6 in the morning, Molly knew there was something special about Jason and chose to give him her real phone number. Jason gave Molly a high five to go and headed home. When he arrived home, he called Molly to inform her that he made it home safe and hit green lights all the way. That confirmed for Molly that indeed, there was something special and unique about Jason.

Jason had planned a trip to go wine tasting with his brother Steve and his family in Paso Robles, California. Steve was the last of the Tamm Siblings for her to meet, since he had been stationed overseas in the US Marine Corps. Molly never believed Jason would propose until she had met all of Jason's siblings. April 13th that year not only is Molly's birthday, but in landed on a Friday. So, Molly did not expect in a million years Jason would propose on that day. Jason and Molly were getting ready to leave for the weekend to finally meet Steve and his family. Molly was doing the last of the breakfast dishes and Jason was still packing. Jason came into the kitchen and asked Molly if she was ready to go. This was common for Jason to do, without himself actually being ready. Molly, with her back to Jason, said yes she was ready and continued to do the dishes. Jason then said, "So you're sure you're ready?" Molly again said, "yup, I'm ready." Jason then said "you're REALLY ready?" Molly, now slightly annoyed, said "Yes, I'm ready!" and turned around to find Jason on one knee, holding a ring and saying "are you ready to marry me? Will you marry me?" Molly of course said "Yes, yes, YES!"
