We have a lot to thank for how we met. Concerts, pizza, and some really awesome friends all contribute to our story! Molly went to a Novo Amor concert in Philly with one of her college roommates and met some of Jamien's friends there. They all enjoyed spending time together and pizza dinners at Luca became a tradition for the group! While at Luca one evening, Jamien's name came up in conversation and Molly was asked if she would be interested in going on a blind date with him and she said yes! Jamien's friend reached out to him about a blind date with Molly and he excitedly agreed! Jamien initiated a date at a coffee shop in Lancaster to meet. They met at Square One Coffee and enjoyed great conversation! They learned about each other's love of music, camping, Lord of the Rings, and so much more! They talked until the shop closed! They didn't want the date to be over just yet, so they walked to Penny's Ice Cream to continue their conversation! They loved getting to know each other and looked forward to many more opportunities to spend time together!

Jamien got Molly the best birthday gift of all! He planned out his proposal as a birthday surprise for her! Without telling her where they were going, he drove Molly to Pinnacle Overlook where they had many picnic and sunset dates before. As they were getting to Overlook, it began raining and Jamien had to alter his plans a bit. He gave Molly his birthday gifts for her in the car and read her a wonderful hand written letter, all the while, the rain continued to come down! He asked if she would still be interested in going for a little walk in the rain or just waiting it out. Molly had grown a little suspicious at this point and more than willingly offered to go for a walk in the rain! He took her to a beautiful rocky section of the overlook that looks out over the Susquehanna River. The rain and fog gave them a secluded and magical setting! Jamien and Molly spent some time on the rocks together enjoying the moment, before he asked if she would like to head back to the car. Molly (reluctantly) agreed. As she began walking back, he stood behind her and called her name to turn around as he knelt down to ask her to be his wife! Molly emphatically said "yes!" It was a beautiful moment that they will always treasure!
