What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal event, and we invite guests to dress in black tie optional attire. As the celebration will be held outdoors in June, we encourage a coastal interpretation of traditional black tie. Think light, airy fabrics and soft coastal hues. Women, floor length or midi formal dresses are encouraged. Men, tuxedos are welcome, but light colored or summer weight suits are equally appropriate. We have included an inspiration photo above for guidance!

Are there really no Ubers or Lyft?

Answer

There are no Ubers or Lyft on Kiawah Island as it is a private island. We recommend guests to book car services to and from the airport or rent a car for the weekend. If you are staying at the Anndell Inn, transportation to the wedding will be provided. Sanctuary and Kiawah Island Resort Guests will have on demand transportation as part of the resort accomodations.
