We first met at the University of Arkansas, where we both lived in the same dorm (shoutout Yocum!). Through mutual friend groups, we started spending more and more time together—and before long, something just clicked. In the spring of 2021, Molly finally told Hayden she liked him… and he said, “Thanks.” (Yes, really.) Thankfully, he redeemed himself quickly—because right after their first date (mini golf and Chili’s, of course), he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. Five wonderful years, countless memories, and one very sweet “yes” later, here we are—so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with you!

After months of planning (and a few clever white lies), Hayden decided to propose at White Rock Lake in Dallas. He told Molly they were going for a casual picnic—but when they arrived, there was a blanket and roses laid out, and a few friends hiding nearby to capture the moment. What Hayden didn’t know was that White Rock Lake already held a special place in Molly’s heart. She grew up going there with her family, and—believe it or not—her grandparents got engaged in that very same spot. Behind the scenes, both of their families played a big part in making it all come together. Hayden’s family helped him find the perfect ring, while Molly’s family worked some serious magic to help her “casually” get ready and even sneakily confirm her ring size. It was a full-circle moment filled with love, surprise, happy tears, and a very heartfelt yes—a day we’ll always cherish.
