FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. Unless stated on your invitation, we kindly ask you do not bring your children.

Question

Who can I bring?

Answer

Only the people listed on the invitation should attend the ceremony and reception. We are looking forward to celebrating with those who are truly close to us and appreciate your compliance.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions or preferences?

Answer

Please make sure that you respond accordingly on your invitation so that we can work with our venue to honor your dietary restrictions/preferences! We will do our best to accommodate, but it will require advance notice. Please reach out to us with any concerns.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony at St. Vincent is street parking only. You will want to allot a few extra minutes to find a parking spot if you are driving so that you are able to join us on time for the ceremony at 2 PM. The reception at Foxtail has a large parking lot - there will be no issues with finding a spot and making your way inside to celebrate with us!

Question

Does the area have ride share options?

Answer

Yes! Sonoma County has many Uber/Lyft options - the area is not remote and there should be no issue with getting rides!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the fact that there is only street parking at the church, we recommend arriving between 1:30-1:45 so that you have time to secure a good spot and/or walk to the ceremony on time! Our ceremony will start at 2 PM so that we can get out of the church for other evening services.

Question

How to manage a ceremony and reception in two different sites?

Answer

Our ceremony is in Petaluma at 2 PM and will probably last ~40-45 minutes! Our reception will start at 5 PM in Rohnert Park. Guests are welcome to mingle/visit, head back to hotels/lodgings briefly, grab a drink or a bite to eat, etc. Our reception will include a full dinner, but we will not be having appetizers - so a light snack may be a good idea!

Question

Can I take pictures? Cellphone friendly?

Answer

We will have multiple professionals taking photos/video content to document our special day. We politely ask that you keep your phones tucked away and silenced during our ceremony so that our hired vendors can do their jobs effectively and we won't have interruptions or cellphones in our photos/videos! During our reception, you are more than welcome to take pictures and use your phone as you wish!
