The MOMI is open to the public until 6:00PM. Wedding guests can start entering no earlier than 6:45PM, and the ceremony will begin just after 7:00PM.
Cocktail attire, we know you all clean up nice!
Our reception will be cocktail style, with no formal sit-down dinner...think cocktail hour all night, with plenty of passed food and stations to fill you up! There will also be no assigned seating - we encourage making new friends or reuniting with old ones and spending plenty of time on the dance floor! The MOMI's galleries will be open for an hour or so after the ceremony for guests to explore and play. The museum is incredibly interactive so we encourage everyone to spend some time checking out the exhibits - they're amazing!
The best way to get to the MOMI is by Uber, or the museum is a five to ten minute walk from the N, R and M subway lines. For those driving, parking is available at PV Parking on 41st Street between 34th and 35th Avenues which is a 5 minute walk from the MOMI.

We won't have shuttles or buses running from the hotel, but it's a 5 minute walk or a 2 minute Uber.

The event is mainly inside at the MOMI, but there is an outdoor courtyard that will be accessible.
We'll be asking our caterer to provide some vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and kosher options, but if you have any other dietary needs, please let us know!
Smoking is not allowed in the museum or the museum's courtyard, but you can smoke outside the front doors.
We have a room block at the Collective Paper Factory hotel starting at $90 a night for the nights of October 1st and 2nd. The link to book with the room block can be found on the "Getting Here" page of this site. Aside from the hotel, there are many excellent AirBnBs available in the area. If you're in town for an extended stay, we'd recommend you stay in Greenpoint or Williamsburg in Brooklyn, or Long Island City or Astoria in Queens. All are a quick Uber to the MOMI!
On the evening of Friday October 1st, we'll be gathering for casual beers and brats at the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden in Astoria.
Yes, in keeping with New York's policies, all guests, staff and vendors will be required to show proof they have received at least one dose of the Covid 19 vaccination for private event spaces that include dining. Proof of vaccination through a physical vaccine card, the Excelsior Pass, or the city’s NYC Safe app will be checked at the venue entry. For guests unable to receive the vaccine, a current negative Covid-19 will be accepted (either a PCR test that has given negative results within 72 hours of the event or a Rapid Test that has been taken within 6 hours of the event date)...GET VAXED PEOPLE!!!
