Molly and Foster first met at Alhambra Hall dog park when Foster’s dog, Rusty, kept stealing Molly’s dog Lovett’s soccer ball. A few days later they ran into each other again at Alhambra, this time with Foster’s best friends, Sara and James Lucas—who Molly had known since 2012. It didn’t take long for them to realize that their connection might not have been a coincidence. As they got to know each other, they discovered their lives had been circling one another for years. Molly’s uncle Richard and aunt Rebecca have known and worked with Foster’s parents for many years, and Rebecca even grew up knowing Foster’s godparents in Charleston. Molly’s close friends from growing up in Nashville shared the same friend group as Foster at the University of Georgia, while at Clemson Molly was close with many of Foster’s childhood friends from Charleston. They even both grew up going to Kanuga family weeks—just at different times in the summer. With so many near misses over the years, it felt like their paths were always meant to cross. Once they finally did, Molly and Foster fell easily and quickly into each other’s lives—and they haven’t looked back since.
