Question

Will I be required to wear a mask?

Answer

Guests will be strongly encouraged to wear a mask when not eating or drinking. If you cannot respect our wishes, we ask that you stay at home. We want this to be a safe event for our loved ones.

What if I feel uncomfortable being around a big group of people during this time?

Answer

We completely understand if you cannot attend. We do not expect you to expose yourself if you feel as though you are at risk. Please feel free to leave after the ceremony or dinner if you feel uncomfortable with the situation. We will make an announcement after the ceremony & after dinner to give people an opportunity to feel comfortable leaving the event. Please do not feel guilty about making this decision. Once dancing and drinking begins, we know it may be more difficult to enforce the wearing of masks. We love you all & your safety is our number one priority.

Will I be able to social distance at this event?

Answer

Absolutely. This event space typically holds over 600 people. We are not inviting nearly that many-- meaning there will be plenty of room for social distancing. The event space is 10,000 square feet and has a lot of outdoor space allowing for social distancing.

Will there be masks provided?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing guests with masks, hand sanitizer, etc. The staff will be sanitizing & cleaning during the event.

Will you be providing any transportation for guests?

Answer

We have a bus that will arrive at the venue at 11:15 and depart at 11:30 if you are looking for a safe ride. The bus holds 40 people. We know it may be tough to get that many ubers out in Tonganoxie late at night, so this is a good way to get home if you are not planning to drive. The bus will drop guests off in the Tanners parking lot in Lenexa, KS. You can grab an Uber from there if you wish! Our hope was that this would save guests some money on transportation. Please wear a mask for the duration of the bus ride to keep everyone safe.

Yes, as long as they were included on your RSVP form!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5pm. We will provide an indoor cocktail hour that begins at 4pm. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to make sure you can find a seat!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes-- there is a lot of parking if you wish to drive. We recommend Uber or Lyft if you are not wanting to drive.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you go to RSVP on this website, it will allow you to RSVP for your date if you have received a "plus one" from us. Otherwise, no you may not bring a date.

Am I still included in the guest list or have you had to downsize?

Answer

YES, you are still included on the guest list. We have not decided to downsize. Click the RSVP tab to let us know if you can make it.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible since we are doing a quick turn around with the wedding. It will be helpful to know how many guests will be attending since we have very little time to plan.
