I met Katie once, maybe twice before signing up to be her roommate back in 2012. Little did I know it would be one of the best decisions I ever made. After living with Katie for about a week, I knew our bond was something special! We lived together for 6 wild months, yet bonded enough to keep our friendship alive, as we have been long distance best friends all but 6 months of our lives together. It hasn't always been easy to stay in touch, especially during our busy grad school days, but our friendship never wavered and has only grown stronger over the years! No matter the distance, we have endured every part of life together. Katie is smart, loving and supportive, I am so thankful and grateful to have Katie as my best friend to go through the up's and down's of life with! Love you Katie!
Raven Quarterman
Best Woman
Raven Quarterman is my younger cousin & Best Woman in our Elopement Ceremony. Her father and my father are brothers. Both brothers grew up on Quarterman Rd, in Midway, GA, which is where my family & I resided for many years. Raven grew up & was raised in Brooklyn, New York with her father, Charles Quarterman, & late Mother, Jeanette Cherry. Annually, Raven has been making the trip to Midway to spend time with her favorite cousins. Over the years, Raven & I have cultivated an incredible bond. We talk to each other about everything, no matter the subject matter. Raven is a selfless, caring, outgoing & loyal person. We laugh incessantly when we're together. All the more reason why she's one of my favorite people in the world. She's a phenomenal relative and the perfect Best Woman!
