Molly was looking to get out of the house after working from home through Covid and landed an interview at Koons Toyota in the service department. She went in for her interview and was looking for her now manager, and Dan said to Molly, “I am him.”Laughed and then someone else directed her to right person. After Molly came back for her prehire paperwork, Dan went to the person she completed it with asked about her. That person said, “oh Dan, don’t bother.” Lol. Well he did bother. The first day in the service department they were talking and said they both seemed familiar to the other person, like they knew each other from elsewhere. Later, Dan found her on Snapchat and added her and they started chatting. Real slick move, he did next, when she would leave him on “opened” he sent a message asking for her number, as he couldn’t handle knowing she opened his message and didn’t answer. Well it worked! They talked everyday, saw each other outside of work every chance they got. Dan introduced Molly to his adorable two boys about 2 months later. Fast forward to March of 2024, it’s almost been a year since Molly sold her townhome and moved in with Dan. They had been talking about their future for quite some time, marriages and kids, as Molly has none of her own. Dan planned a weekend trip since they had been saying they needed to get away from daily life. Off to Virginia Beach they go after work, Molly complained as soon as they got there about the view and Dan was about ready to just go home. She thought he said oceanfront when it was ocean view. It was ocean view with a main view of the ac units. Lol. Anyway, they didn’t leave and the next morning Molly went to get her nails done, as she didn’t have a chance before going away. Unbeknownst to Molly, while she was getting her nails done, Dan was busy unpacking a box with her surprise in it. When she got back the hotel room was filled with rose petals, banners, a blanket, and Dan down on one knee saying the words, “will you marry me?” She said yes, and of course cried. They celebrated with champagne before going out for the afternoon. Now, they are going to be saying “I do” before too long and cannot wait to celebrate with friends and family!
