Ceremony and Reception

We are switching things up a little bit from the usual. We have decided to have a smaller and more intimate ceremony at a family home in the country. This part of the day will be very small with primarily our immediate family members present. Our reception will follow at Cold Springs Resort where we are BEYOND excited to celebrate with all of the people that we love most! Each person's/party's invitation is personalized to the timeline they will follow for the day to help minimize any confusion.

Wondering what to wear? We are open to lots of looks & styles! Think cocktail meets dressy casual meets garden party. If you are wanting to partake in the theme, our color scheme is a variety of blues and greens with accents of pastel yellows, pinks, peach, lavender, periwinkle, etc... And if that not "you" then that's ok too! Wear what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful we just ask you keep it appropriate and not *too* casual (stay away from your movie-night-in sweats).

Parking

Parking at both locations will be marked by signs and/or have a person directing. The ceremony parking will be along the left side of the drive as you enter the property. Parking here is VERY limited as it is a family home. If at all possible, please try to carpool! At Cold Springs, you will see their sign at the edge of the road when you turn onto the property. The parking lot will on the right BEFORE you reach the actual buildings.

There will be two separate bars during our evening together. During cocktail hour, the bar in the bottom level of the hotel will be open to guests from 4pm-6pm. Enjoy anything you'd like, on us:) Around 5:45, we will transition into the reception hall for the majority of the evening. The bar in the reception hall will be open all night long but will be a CASH bar. Your beer and wine are on us but for something with a little more kick, bring cash. This is truly a cash bar (there is no card option available) so please come prepared so that no one leaves disappointed.
