Unlike many modern couples, Molly and Dabnis didn’t meet through a dating app. Their story began the old-fashioned way—face-to-face. In the summer of 2020, amidst the nationwide unrest following the murder of George Floyd, both Molly and Dabnis felt a profound calling to advocate for unity, inclusion, and diversity within their community. On July 4th of that year, fate brought them together at a unity and culture event at Wing Park. Dabnis was a speaker at the event, sharing powerful words rooted in faith and a vision of hope for their community, country, and world. Molly, in attendance at the event, was captivated by the man she met that day. There was something unmistakable about him—his conviction, his grace, and his unwavering faith in Christ. It was as if God cast a light onto Dabnis and illuminated him just for Molly to see. Inspired, it was Molly that reached out to Dabnis after the event. Just three days later, they went on their first date, a conversation that felt less like small talk and more like two souls aligning. They spoke openly about their faith in Jesus Christ, their dreams, and their shared vision for the future. By the end of that evening, both knew: This is the person I’m going to marry. Nearly five years have passed since that life-changing date, and Molly and Dabnis have only grown closer—best friends, unwavering partners, and each other’s greatest champions. With countless cherished memories behind them and endless possibilities ahead, they are now ready to begin their next chapter as husband and wife, united in Christ and in love.
