Question

Do I need a passport or visa to travel to Italy?

Answer

U.S. citizens do not need a visa for short stays in Italy, but a valid passport is required. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into either Florence (FLR) or Pisa (PSA). Both airports are approximately 45–50 minutes from the venue and offer good international and regional connections.

Question

How early should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 1–2 days before the wedding to allow time to settle in, adjust to the time difference, and enjoy Tuscany.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the hotel or venue?

Answer

Guests may choose to rent a car, book a private transfer, take a train, or work with our travel expert, Mariah, who can assist with arranging airport transfers and transportation throughout your stay.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve provided two recommended hotels that are convenient to the venue and offer easy access to transportation for wedding events. You can find further details on the travel page.

Question

Do I have to stay at one of the recommended hotels?

Answer

Not at all! You’re welcome to stay anywhere you’d like. Please note that transportation for wedding events will be provided from our recommended hotels.

Question

When should I book accommodations?

Answer

We recommend booking as soon as possible, as August is a popular travel season in Tuscany and availability can be limited.

Question

Will transportation be provided for wedding events?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided from our recommended hotels for the Welcome Party and Wedding Day. More details to follow.

Question

What if I'm staying elsewhere?

Answer

If you’re not staying at a recommended hotel, you may need to arrange your own transportation to and from wedding events.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a small lot available for those who will be renting cars.

Question

What events are taking place?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating with a Welcome Party followed by the Wedding Day. A detailed schedule will be shared closer to the date.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, weather permitting.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Italian Summer Formal. Think elegant, formal attire with lightweight fabrics suitable for warm weather.

Question

Any shoe recommendations?

Answer

The venue features gravel and stone pathways. We recommend block heels, wedges, flats, or dressy sandals for comfort.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late August in Tuscany is typically warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures in the 80s°F. Evenings may cool slightly.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a special evening with us. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Who should I contact with questions?

Answer

For travel-related and wedding-specific questions, please reach out to Mariah directly. Her contact information can be found on the travel page.
