One Saturday evening, after a fine Mariners game (they probably lost), the lovely Seattle rain drove Molly and a friend to the restaurant across the street to wait it out before taking the bus home. While sipping on a delicious beer, a handsome stranger walked by wearing a Mariners jersey and a Sounders scarf. That was all it took for Molly to strike up a conversation with the man who would be the love of her life, Colin.

After years of dating, more Mariners games, lots of traveling across the world, and much more, Colin and Molly went on a trip to one of their favorite places in the world, Sydney, Australia. Knowing Molly can always sniff out a surprise Colin threw her off the trail with a sob story about how “we don’t have a ring so the proposal will have to wait, even on our incredible trip.” On New Year’s Eve, with a glass of champagne in Molly’s hand and the Sydney fireworks over the Harbour Bridge, Colin got down on one knee and proposed. Molly was incredulous and said “yes” through tears and sobbing. Our next adventure awaits on Friday, May 1st at Roche Harbor Resort where we will both say “yes” to forever!
