The Outer Sunset neighborhood is home to one of our favorite places in the world, Ocean Beach. Our tip: grab to-go Hooks Fish Co burritos + margs from the Sunset Cantina up the street and watch the sunset.

Hook Fish Co
Hook Fish Co has two locations, one in Mill Valley not far from our wedding venue, and the second in the Outer Sunset area. The fish burrito cannot be beat. The fried avocado is also exceptional! Pro tip: Order online ahead for pickup and avoid the line.
Golden Gate Park
Grab some Lyft bikes and go for a ride through the park. We love to stop at the conservatory of flowers, make sure to find the roller skaters!
Fort Point National Historic Site
An old military base with incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the rest of the city. You can easily spend an hour or two exploring.
Alcatraz Island
If this is your first trip or your 100th trip to San Francisco, a visit to Alcatraz Island never gets old. Grab tickets online ahead of time and plan to catch the boat leaving from Fisherman's Wharf area.
Musée Mécanique
If you find yourself in the Fisherman's Wharf area, maybe after your visit to Alcatraz, this free museum is worth a stop. Funky old arcade games and memorabilia from old San Francisco.
Cable Car Museum
Visit this free museum to learn about the iconic SF cable car! Our favorite ride is to hop on at Fisherman's Wharf near the Buena Vista cafe and ride to Chinatown!
Muir Woods National Monument
An amazing place to experience the redwoods. Visiting rules and parking regulations change regularly so plan ahead by visiting the website.
Local Edition

Pelican Inn
An English pub with the perfect lawn to enjoy a bite to eat and a drink after a beach day or hike along the Muir Beach trail.

A great pizza place on the water in Sausalito. Grab lunch and a glass of wine.

If it's a sunny day in the Bay Area there is no better place for lunch than Sam's patio. The wait can be long when the weather is nice, so arrive early and put your name down to enjoy exceptionally fresh seafood.
