Chris and Molly grew up on opposite sides of the country, 2,630 miles away to be exact. It wasn't until Molly's family moved from California to Florida four years ago that Chris and Molly's paths crossed for the first time. A group of friends gathered at a local beach to play volleyball and despite Molly's horrendous skills in volleyball, Chris was intrigued. Chris and Molly quickly became friends and eventually that friendship turned into love.

Backpacking through Europe had always been a dream of Molly's, and graduating from college was the perfect excuse to plan such a trip. It was while Molly and Chris were in the mountain village of Gimmelwald, Switzerland that Chris decided it was a good time to pop the question. On that day Chris and Molly took a somewhat treacherous (unmarked) trail to hike behind a waterfall. The trail was steep and Molly thought Chris was shaking due to his fear of heights, luckily for Chris, she was clueless of the real reason for his nerves. Molly and Chris became engaged June 3, 2018.
