No, but there is an adults-only section within the resort.

Can my kids come?

Children are welcome at the resort, but the ceremony and reception will be adults only, with the exception of the few children in the wedding.

Does the resort have childcare?

Answer

Yes, there is a fully supervised children's program with fun activities that is open until 10pm. There are also babysitters available 24 hours a day for an additional charge.

Is Costa Rica (and the resort) safe?

Answer

Yes, Costa Rica has a very low crime rate and the people are very friendly. The resort is amazing and incredibly safe. However, use your "street smarts" wherever you go!

Do I have to do a currency exchange?

Answer

No, most places in Costa Rica accept USD. However, you may get colones in return!

What is the language spoken in Costa Rica?

Answer

Spanish is the official language, but many people speak English. Feel free to brush up on your Spanish if you plan on going off resort, but it is not necessary!

Do I have to take a Covid test to go to Costa Rica?

Answer

No!! You just need covid insurance and to fill out the health questionnaire and submit it a few days prior to going (see post in the Facebook group or reach out if you can't see it).

Do I have to take a Covid test to return to the US?

Answer

Yes. The resort is offering free tests until the end of May. They help you schedule it at check in. If you do pop positive, you can stay at the resort for free for two weeks to quarantine.

Will the bride and groom be doing any excursions?

Answer

Yes! We will definitely do some excursions while we are there and plan on spending time with everyone as best we can. If you're the adventurous type, join us on an excursion!
