We were acquaintances in high school and had some mutual friends, although none of them had the foresight to introduce us to each other-- we are still lamenting those lost years... Anyway, this tale begins, as most adventures do, in a tavern. North Vernon's own Miller's Tavern, to be exact. You see, Caymen was in between cable providers at the time, and never one to miss an IU game, had realized that for the low price of a tenderloin and beer, he could enjoy the games remotely. Molly, along with her longtime best friend Bridget, had also been frequenting the establishment (for purely academic purposes, naturally). Some say it was fate, others a happy coincidence, and others still proclaim that the universe itself folded together in order for these to stories to mesh. However it happened, it did, and thus a new era not only of our own lives, but of history itself began as we met, and we are sure glad it did. What followed was a series of ten dates in ten days (which might qualify for some sort of record, although we are still waiting to hear back form Guinness) because more than 24 hours in-between would have been unbearable for either of us. Due to character limits, we will wrap this up succinctly. Through copious laughter, daring adventures, a brief stint in homelessness (thanks, fire), then a home and a dog (Ollie is the best boy!), we have come to call each other best friends and soon, husband and wife. Ultimately, this story doesn't have an ending... and that's just the way we like it.
