Summer Garden Formal ✨ Kilts, suits, and long, bright-colored, or floral dresses—think vibrant, elegant, and perfect for a garden celebration! This is a marquee garden wedding, so we recommend block heels for the grass.
The easiest way to get to our wedding will be to drive. There will be parking in Wilcote, though we would appreciate if you could lift share if possible to reduce the number of cars. Our nearest train station is Hanborough, and is a 10 minute drive from Wilcote. There are hourly trains from Paddington. Our ceremony is at: St James Church, High Street, Ramsden, Witney, OX7 3AZ (opposite the Royal Oak). Please see the parking section for suggestions about getting to the church. Our reception is at: Wilcote Grange, Wilcote, Chipping Norton, OX7 3EA.
St James' church does not have much parking, so you will have to park roadside in Ramsden (there is some space). However, if you can, we would encourage you to park in Wilcote and walk or carpool to the church. It is just over a mile away and less if you walk over the fields. The walk is a personal favourite and ends at the pub!
We recognise that some of you will be travelling some way to celebrate with us. Whilst there are various pubs, inns and even some hotels in Witney and the surrounding areas, we have allocated part of Wilcote Grange to camping! So please feel free to stay the night. There is a useful hour between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the reception to set up your tents. You could also arrive before the ceremony to set up your tents if need be. There will be toilets, running water and space to park your car overnight. Guests will need to have departed by 11am the following morning. Please let us know if you plan to camp!
We are delighted to announce that the Knights of the Round Grill will be cooking up an absolute feast of barbequed meats and sides. After some delicious canapes, there will be a choice of 3 meats: picanha steak, chicken shwarma, and pulled pork, and a choice of sides: mac 'n' cheese, coleslaw, salad and rolls. There will also be a vegetarian option.
