The American Swedish Historical Museum

We encourage all guests to explore the Museum throughout the evening! Please be mindful of any "no food/drinks" signs as you enter exhibits.

The American Swedish Historical Museum holds a special place in the Longo/Danielsson Family's heart. Bengt and Laila Danielsson, Austin's grandparents, are both Swedish and long-time members of the Museum. Bengt and Laila met on the M.S Kungsholm ship in 1955 in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Bengt was returning home to Stockholm for the summer, and Laila was traveling to Sweden with her family for the summer. They have instilled a love for their heritage in their family through holiday traditions, scandinavian cuisine, and involvement in Swedish-American communities like the ASHM. Growing up, Austin, Dylan, and Karl were involved in the annual St. Lucia Christmas festival and visited the museum frequently with their family. We are so excited to be able to honor Austin's Swedish heritage on our wedding day!

Our Journey (so far!)

10 years after graduating High School, and likely the last time we were in the same room together, our paths crossed again and we have been walking hand-in-hand ever since. A swipe on Bumble, pitcher of margaritas, and easy-flowing conversation was all it took to realize we wanted to keep spending time with one another. Molly fell in love with Austin's strong sense of self, kindness, and fun-loving energy, while Austin fell in love with Molly's love of life, smile, and confidence. Our dogs, Cooper & Wilson immediately got along and we spent many days on trail walks together before and after work. We fell in love over cups of coffee, beach days, concerts, lunch dates, tennis matches, time with friends, and spontaneous dinners. Over time, our love deepened as we started traveling the world, moved in together, spent holidays with one another's families, celebrated the big & small moments, and navigated the unexpected difficulties life threw our way. We often look back and laugh that we spent every day of school together in Homeroom for 3 years straight, and it took 10 years of living separate lives and coming back to West Chester to find one another again in the most unexpected way. Since coming together, our love has always been a partnership built on the foundation of love, respect, unwavering support, and laughter. We love the beautiful life we have built together, and cannot wait for the continued joy we know awaits us as Husband & Wife. We are filled with so much gratitude to be able to share our Wedding Day and our lives with each of you! Thank you for your everlasting support and love as we step into the next chapter of our journey together.
