Molly and Austen’s love story began at the end of 2023. Molly was pursuing her Nurse Practitioner degree and Austen was working full time as a Paramedic while taking online classes to finish his Bachelor’s degree. Molly’s genuine kindness, contagious joy, love for Jesus, and timeless beauty made her an irresistible choice and Austen fell in love quickly. It didn’t take long for Molly to be drawn to Austen’s big personality, either. His passion for worshiping the Lord through song, his natural and strong leadership, and his zeal for adventure captured her heart. Though different in many ways, Molly and Austen share a love for travel, great food, and adventure. They have traveled all over the U.S., visiting various cities, with their favorite destination being Hawaii. Like diamonds that find their beauty through intense pressure, their relationship grew strong through the challenges of surrender and the realization that true love isn’t just a fairytale, but a daily choice to die to self and love unconditionally despite flaws and failures. Through every trial and extraordinary adventure, God shaped their hearts together and created a bond that would stand the test of time and space. And on a perfectly beautiful summer day—in fairytale fashion—on bended knee, Austen made Molly’s (and his) dreams come true. On that day, Molly said “yes” to becoming Mrs. Austen Heider.
