Father of the Bride
My dad… the one who gives me my personality, my sarcasm, and my hardheadedness. He is the one who can irritate me and make me smile at the same time. He is the one who has shown me true, unconditional love and has never let me settle for anything less than I deserve (in any aspect of my life). My dad is the one who I know will be there to help in any situation as soon as I call and will never let me feel less than I am worth. Because of him, I know what a true man looks like.
Mother of the Bride
Oh mama… I literally wouldn’t be here without you. My mom is the one I call daily, the one who gives me the advice I need (even when I don’t want to hear it), and never fails to love me for who I am each day. She is my foundation. She is the one who has been there since day one, always supporting me in everything I do. I love her more than words can describe, and hope that I can continue to learn from her so that one day I can be half the woman she is.
Father of the Groom
My father has been my best friend growing up. He has led us on so many adventures and amazing experiences over the years along with my mom. He is a great man that has a positive impact on everyone around him. He loves to joke around and many of us have been stuck (I mean blessed) to hear his jokes. My dad has shown me what it means to be a good father and husband and I strive to follow his role.
Mother of the Groom
My mom is the heart of our family. She supports each and every one of us and is always there for us no matter what. She is loving, caring, adventurous, and captures all of life’s moments much to our in-the-moment frustration. Everyone who learns that there are four sons in the family always figures our mom is a miracle worker, and they would be right (as much as I would like to say we were all angels growing up). Where I am today is a testament to how great of a mom she is. She is always someone that I have been able to lean on and talk to about anything.
Maid of Honor
Kaki is my sister, and the only person I would think to have as my maid of honor. She is the one who grounds me, my voice of reason, and the funniest person I know. She is the one of the only ones who has been there since *almost* day one (I am 15 months older, ya know?!). I couldn’t imagine anyone else standing right behind me as I say “I do”.
Best Man
During their freshman year at Virginia Tech, Molly and Alex met at Zach’s apartment. Since then, they have all become close friends with many adventures over the past few years. Although now living in a different state, Zach continues to stay in close contact with the couple and is a joy to be around. Zach is intelligent, driven, and tells it as it is. He pushes us to be the best versions of ourselves and I am very lucky to have him as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Hannah never fails to make me laugh… like ever. She is one of the smartest and hardest working people I have ever met. She is the one I know that I can go to anything with. And she will never fail to hop in the car during a simple errand just to spend time with me. She is a rock in my life, and I wouldn’t want to do my big day without her.
Groomsman
Matthew, my best older brother. He makes everything seem so effortless and sparks my competitive spirit. He has been my role model and a person I have looked up to (quite literally) my entire life. Matthew is intelligent, sarcastic, and high-achieving.
Bridesmaid
Kayleigh has been a light in my life for over four years now. She is a voice of reason, a sounding board, and the biggest supporter you could also for. If there is anything I may need, Kayleigh is there to provide it. She has a heart of gold, and I couldn’t imagine my life without her… much less walking down the aisle without her.
Groomsman
Wesley, according to everyone, my “older” brother. Wesley is a hard worker and cares deeply about those close to him. While we were in Blacksburg at the same time, we enjoyed his weekly Sunday afternoon visits to hangout (nap) in our living room area.
Bridesmaid
The one who’s been there since middle school… my girl Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn is the type of friend who, no matter how much time has passed, will pick our friendship up right where it left off. She is my concert buddy and may be the only one who loves to dance as much as me. She has been around through many transitions, highs, and lows with me and I couldn’t imagine not having her by my side on my special day.
Groomsman
“Lazy” Lucas, the baby brother. Lucas is a social butterfly and loves talking to new people. Get him on the dance floor with Wesley and they are sure to put on a show. Lucas is outgoing, caring, and laid back. He never fails to make us laugh.
Bridesmaid
Maddie had no choice in being my cousin, but she did have a choice in being my friend… and lucky for me she decided we could be both. Maddie adds a light to my life I wouldn’t want to be without. She brings humor to any situation we are in and never fails to say what she’s feeling straight up. She is oh so special, and I am so thankful she will be with me on my wedding day.
Groomsman
When I first met Gabe, he was the “tough” younger brother. Quickly did he show how compassionate and kind he is, even though he tried to hide it. Gabe is a family man and loves to spend time with those he cares about. I never imagined adding another brother to my family but I am so fortunate that it is someone so great.
Bridesmaid
Syd oh Syd…. I couldn’t have made it without you. Sydney has always been a joy to be around, the life of a party, and the one to make sure everyone feels wanted and included. She supported me through some of the toughest parts of the transition to college and gave me a safe space to go. She is not family by blood, but definitely is by choice. I am so happy to have her with me on my big day!
Groomsman
Max is a die hard Virginia Tech fan and knows his sports like no tomorrow. I have known Max since we were babies. Most recently, I was lucky enough to live with him in college. He is one of mine and Molly’s biggest fans and we both now consider him one of our closest friends. Max is such a great guy and loves to have a good time.
Bridesmaid
Kayla has only been in my life for a short period of time, but boy oh boy do I wish it was longer! She is the type of friend I instantly connected with, and I know God made our paths cross for a reason. She is honest, caring, and incredibly giving. She knows how to “keep it weird” and always gives people the space to be their true selves. I wouldn’t want my wedding day to be without her by my side.
Groomsman
Jason is a lifelong friend of mine. Despite him choosing a more than questionable college, we have kept our friendship throughout the changes in life. I always enjoy spending time with Jason and we have so many great memories from our dirt bike riding and boating. Jason is genuine, funny, humble, and the best DJ for wake surfing.
Bridesmaid
Julia is the one who will always make sure I have experienced good food and good wine. Oh, and she will always be a good time! She is a joy to be around and can make even the most intense situations seem calming. Julia brought me happiness through some of the hardest times in my college swimming career. Her light is most definitely needed when I say “I do”.
Groomsman
Cole and I became friends at a young age through both of our families’ involvement in riding dirtbikes. We have had so many good times over the years and spent many summers just being goons. If something ever breaks, Cole is always the first one to jump in to help and fix it. Cole is always light-hearted, easy to get along with, and makes time for those he cares about.
Junior Bridesmaid
Rea Rea is one of my “little sisters”. She is not afraid to tell people we are related, even though we aren’t. She knows that family does not always have to be blood, and she has chosen me as part of hers. She is my biggest supporter and always keeps my on my toes. She keeps me young, and makes sure I never lose the youth inside of me. I am so excited to have her with my on my big day.
Groomsman
We met Brian through our Church group while we were at Virginia Tech. Brian’s love for Christ and supportive character shines a light on everyone around him. He always encourages me to set our goals high and get after them. Brian is the guy that everyone needs in their corner. He loves to wakeboard, shoot guns, and tell jokes that he may or may not have heard in some comedy special.
Usher
Mack is the one who always inspires me to be my true self. I never forget how much I’m worth when Mack is around. There’s mix of laughter, light, and seriousness with her, and she is the perfect mix of it all. Those who know Mack are lucky, and those who meet her instantly know the love she gives. We are so lucky to have her as an usher on our big day!
