Things To Do

Just a few of our favorite places around town!

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

1 West Bridge Street, Dublin, OH 43017

Our first date! Adil got his go-to, brambleberry crisp + gooey butter cake (which is my favorite, too), and I decided to go absolutely rogue and get their special, pineapple upside-down-cake. Go crazy, or get the gold standard; it'll be great either way!

North Market Bridge Park

6750 Longshore Street, Dublin, OH 43017

Food hall with lots of local options. Our favorite is Hoyo's Somalian! You can also check out the original North Market downtown.

Fox in the Snow Cafe

38 West Bridge Street, Dublin, OH 43017

One of our favorite local pastry and coffee chains. You can't go wrong with any of their pastries but we love the blueberry galette and the egg sandwich (without meat).

Wario's Beef and Pork

111 West Nationwide Boulevard, Columbus, OH 43215

The best subs. 2 locations in town. Adil loves 'The Steak - Wario's Way' and would get it every week if he could. Molly loves the Chicken Ceasar. Ask or check out their instagram to see what their unique daily special sub is!

Brassica in the Short North

680 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43215

Local chain with several locations. Fast casual mediterranean, build-your-own situation. Adil loves the brisket, Molly loves the roasted cauliflower, we both love the baba, and you gotta get the fries!

Mikey's Late Night Slice

6562 Riverside Drive, Dublin, OH 43017

Columbus staple for a big slice of pizza

Joya's

657 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085

Amaaazing spot for a breakfast bite!

Goodale Park

120 West Goodale Street, Columbus, OH 43215

Great park to walk around or spend the day at. Tennis/pickle ball courts, benches, open green space, dogs. Close to High Street for shopping and restuarants. Other great parks around town include Thompson Park, Park of Roses (a block from our home), and Antrim Lake.

The Book Loft of German Village

631 South 3rd Street, Columbus, OH 43206

This shop is chock full of books. It can get a little busy/hectic midday so go early to avoid the crowds. There's a farmer's market across the street on Saturday mornings, or stop by Stauf's, Kittie's, Pistacia Vera, or Katzinger Deli, while you're over there. Stay and take a walk around the cute cobblestone streets of German Village or stroll through Schiller Park.

Hocking Hills State Park

Logan, OH 43138

About an hour southeast of Columbus, you can find some very beautiful hikes for a fun day trip or cool airbnb's if you want to make it a little getaway. The leaves should be starting to change, making it even more special. You can stop at Hocking Hills Inn & Coffee Emporium for coffee and a bite on your way in/out

Ohio Stadium

411 Woody Hayes Drive, Columbus, OH 43210

Find a TV or a sport's bar and watch the Buckeyes take on the Gophers (time tbd, hopefully a morning game...). Beware of traffic if you head toward campus on a gameday!

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

4850 West Powell Road, Powell, OH 43065

Consistently one of the top rated zoos in the nation!

Easton Town Center

160 Easton Town Center, Columbus, OH 43219

Indoor/outdoor shopping center with so many options. Adil and his high school friends spent many an evening getting into shenanigans here!

For all the days along the way
