Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Guests are invited to wear cocktail dresses, dressy separates, blazers or button down shirts (linen okay!) with or without a tie. We suggest breathable fabrics in any color for our summer celebration. Our decorations will be muted earthy tones (sage green, olive, beige, gold), but wear what makes you comfortable!

Question

Any suggested hotels or lodging?

Answer

We suggest staying on the east or southern sides of Syracuse for ease to get to Fabius. See the "Travel" section for two hotel suggestions based on feedback from family who have stayed there. There are also many other options for hotels and airbnbs in the area, please reach out to us with any questions and we can help find accommodations.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited space, only children of immediate family are invited (their name will be on your wedding invite). We're sorry! Note: we won't have any kid-centered activities at the wedding.

Question

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

The venue is about 35 minutes from Syracuse. It is located in a county park (free entrance) with ample parking right next to the building. Uber/Lyft might be available, but we suggest driving because it is somewhat remote. We will likely offer a free shuttle for guests depending on interest. Please let us know in the RSVP if you'd be interested. Pick up and drop off would be in the parking lot of Bethany Baptist Church (149 Beattie St, Syracuse, NY 13224). There is plenty of room to park your vehicle there and it is accessible by uber if you prefer not to drive. The shuttle would leave promptly at 3:00pm to drive to Fabius, and leave the wedding venue at 9:00pm.

Question

Is that a ferret in the photo?

Answer

Yes. Molly has a ferret. Lukia is wonderful. Aaron will not be fielding any follow up questions at this time. (jk, he loves her)
