JFK Airport

If you fly into JFK, you can either rent a car or take the Long Island Railroad. If you plan to take the LIRR, you will need to take the Airtrain from JFK to Jamaica train station and then get on the LIRR to Montauk. Train times vary.

If you fly into LGA you'll want to rent a car to drive out to Montauk.

Islip Airport

Islip is the closest airport to Montauk. You can rent a car at the airport or it's a short Uber ride to Sayville train station where you can catch a LIRR train to Montauk.

For those traveling from NYC the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station is the easiest commute to Montauk, NY.

The Hampton Jitney bus is another way to easily travel from NYC to Montauk.
