We do. St. Croix has a lot to offer around town. From shopping to the different beaches, it is fun to explore. Just as a reminder, they drive on the left side of the road!
We recommend going to Plaza Extra East (see things to do) upon arrival and grabbing some groceries for the week. The condos in Gentle Winds do have a full kitchen, so you can eat meals in the condo. The prices for food are a bit higher than in the states because they have to import everything. We also recommend grabbing waters and booze as well during this trip. There is a beach shack at the beach in Gentle Winds, which serves food and booze, but it is also nice to have some in the condo. Drinks and food will be provided Saturday (5/23) and Sunday (5/24) evening.
St. Croix has so much to offer from beaches to shopping and of course drinking. Check out the things to do tab with some of our favorite activities.
We don't have an exact itinerary as we want people to enjoy themselves as they please. We are flying into town 5/22 (Friday) and leaving 5/30 (Saturday). We do have the cookout planned for Saturday evening so everyone can meet and mingle! Sunday is the re-ceremony on the beach at 4p followed by food and booze. Lastly, we plan to go to Buck Island on Tuesday, 5/26 and hope others will join! Other than that, we do not have an exact itinerary for our guests to follow. We want you all to enjoy the island and all it has to offer.
It depends on your interest. If you prefer 'beaching' it, we highly suggest relaxing at the condo beach with a drink in your hand and potentially venturing over to Cane Bay (it is so beautiful!). If you become restless on the beach, we highly suggest the Cruzan and Captain Morgan Factories. For a small price, you can get a quick tour and then sample drinks at the bar! Just be sure someone can drive!
No, you don't. The beauty of St. Croix is you are on US soil! BUT be sure to read what documents you DO need to bring if you do not have your passport. We both usually bring ours as it is the easiest form of documentation.
AT&T does get service down in St. Croix, Verizon does not. The service can be a bit spotty in the condos, but you should be able to connect to WiFi.
We do buy bottle water for drinking, but when out and about, we do not have any issues with drinking the water.
