January 31, 2026.
Please refer to your invitation. If a guest is listed, they are invited.
We kindly request an adults-only celebration.
Yes. Please let us know of any allergies or restrictions.
Please fly into Lisbon Airport (LIS). We recommend staying in Lisbon, as it has the most hotel options, restaurants, and things to do. The wedding itself will take place in Sintra, which is only about 30 minutes from Lisbon. We have hotel recommendations for both Lisbon and Sintra, depending on where you want to stay during your trip.
Not required. Uber, Bolt, taxis, and walking cover most needs. Public transportation is also very safe, and efficient to explore nearby cities.
Our wedding venue is located in Sintra, Portugal, which is a short distance outside of Lisbon.
Please feel free to have fun with color! Florals, pastels, and bold prints all fit the vibe. Midi, maxi dresses, or garden-party attire encouraged. Men may wear lightweight suits, or simply slacks with a nice button-up. No ties required unless desired.
Lisbon Weather - Warm, sunny days with mild evenings. A light layer at night is helpful. Sintra Weather - A bit more humid. Cooler and greener than Lisbon, with occasional mist. Bring an extra layer.
Currency: Portugal uses the Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted. ATMs (“Multibanco”) offer the best exchange rates. Outlets: Portugal uses Type F (two round prongs). Bring a European adapter. Walking: Lisbon, and the nearby cities have steep hills and cobblestone streets, so bring comfortable, stable shoes. Transportation: Uber and Bolt are inexpensive and reliable. Taxis are easy to find and public transportation is safe and efficient. Tipping: Not mandatory, but rounding up or adding 5-10% is appreciated. Water: Tap water is clean and safe to drink. Dining: Locals eat dinner later, usually 7:30–10:30 PM. AMEX cards: American Express is accepted at many hotels and larger restaurants, but smaller shops and cafés may only accept Visa or Mastercard. We recommend bringing a backup card and a small amount of euros for convenience. Summer Festivals: Since you’re visiting in June, you’ll experience Lisbon’s beloved Festas dos Santos Populares (Popular Saints Festival). Throughout the month, the city comes alive with street parties, music, dancing, colorful decorations, and the famous grilled sardines. Expect lively neighborhoods (especially Alfama, Bairro Alto, and Graça), festive crowds in the evenings, and a fun, energetic atmosphere. It’s one of the most special times of year to be in Lisbon!
