In March 2021, Mollie found out she was moving to Temple, Texas for her medical residency in emergency medicine. Shortly after moving in June 2021, she "matched" with David on the dating app called Hinge. The two of them instantly connected when they realized both of them had dogs named Theodore. When they finally met in person, David took Mollie to dinner at a place on "Slaughter Lane." Despite her suspicions, Mollie made it out of the date alive and happier than ever. David even decided to fly out to Chicago to spend more time with Mollie after only a few weeks of knowing each other. It was there that David popped the, "Will you be my girlfriend" question. Fast forward to January 28th, 2023, David and Mollie had planned a romantic birthday dinner on the beach in the Dominican Republic for Mollie, but David had other plans... He FINALLY asked Mollie to marry him after months of her sending him not so subtle hints about getting married. The two of them are now happily engaged, living in Round Rock with their two pups (Ted/Theo), and beyond excited to get married in September 2024!
