We met June 12, 2021 at Mollie's apartment in Boone, North Carolina. Our dear friend Max had brought a small group together to go-to a Pop Punk night at Lily's Snack Bar. When Alex arrived, he sat next to Mollie in the corner of the room. That’s when we started to get to know each other. She heard all about his passion for sports and writing and he heard all about her passion for healing people and nature. The summer went by, Mollie and Alex began to spend more time together. They went on hikes, to the farmers market, swimming, and to the gym, of course. By August, we were seeing each other regularly. An art night that ran into the late morning, because we couldn't stop talking and dancing made it official for us. From that point on we have been inseparable. Over the years we've learned a lot about each other, watching each other change and grow, but no matter what meeting the other with a deeper sense of understanding and commitment. Spring 2024 we started to talk about what it would mean for us to get married. Alex proposed June 29th, 2024 and Mollie said, “yes”! We are thrilled to be entering into this meaningful transition together and can't wait to take on the rest of life's joys and challenges. I love you darling.
