We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ceremony starts at 3:30pm so you can settle before the proceedings. The doors will open at 3:00pm.
Semi-formal attire: a dress code balancing elegance and comfort, positioned between formal (black-tie) and casual, suitable for weddings, parties, and evening events.
We wanted to share a quick update regarding lodging for our wedding. We do have a room block reserved at Hotel Mead Resorts and Convention Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Address: 451 East Grand Ave, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 Phone: 715-423-1500 If you plan to stay there, please call the hotel directly and mention the Severson/Olson Room Block when booking your room. Please note: the hotel cannot guarantee a 2:00 PM check-in time for everyone but they said they would try their best to accommodate as our wedding starts at 3:30 However, check-in is available all night, so if you’re unable to check in before the wedding, you’ll still be able to get your room afterward.
We’re excited to share that we will have a shuttle available for our wedding day. The shuttle will begin running at 2:00 PM to bring guests to the venue, and it will also provide rides back to the hotels at the end of the night. If you’re planning to use the shuttle, please reach out to Abe or Mollie to confirm that your hotel is included on the route and to help us plan accordingly. We’re looking forward to celebrating with you all!
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside weather permitting. The bar will be located indoors. The reception will take place primarily indoors.
