Question

Weather

Answer

Weather in the Rocky Mountains can vary significantly from one hour to the next. The average temperature during the day in October is in the high 60°F/low 70°F, although temperatures are much cooler during the evening. The occasional shower can occur at any time, sometimes turning into thunderstorms, but these do not last long. Please be prepared on your adventures.

The town of Aspen is approximately 8,000 ft. Since it is easy to become dehydrated at high altitudes, we encourage you to drink sufficient water, even a few days before travelling to Colorado.
