We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met on the first day of PSU's MBA Orientation Weekend. The two of us were grouped together for a case analysis activity that explored Hopworks Urban Brewery's expansion plans. We immediately connected over a mutual love of HUB (and all Oregon breweries) and a shared upbringing in our beloved Portland. And later, over the discovery of a shared alma mater (Go Ducks!). At the conclusion of Orientation Day 1, Sam snagged Mollee's number for potential "study group" opportunities. Two weeks later we met for our first study group which swiftly developed into our first date.

We were celebrating our 2nd anniversary at McMenamin's Edgefield in Troutdale, OR. After wandering through the estate on one of the last warm fall days, Sam suggested we explore the back vineyards. Mollee walked through several spiderwebs and was busy shaking out her hair, when Sam complained of catching a spiderweb on his leg. As he bent down to dust off alleged "web", he got down on one knee, pulled a ring box out of his pocket, and popped the question. Mollee proceeded to drop her phone, burst into tears, and nearly tackle Sam in pure joy.
