It all started in World Civilization class sophomore year of high school. Mollee and Frankie sat at the same desk pods and started talking to each other. Later on Mollee heard through the “he said, she said” high school grapevine that Frankie liked her. This was the most exciting news for Mollee, as she liked him as well. Mollee then decided to muster up the courage to call Frankie and tell him she liked him. Mollee wrote out a whole script to call and tell Frankie that she had a crush on him. When he told her he liked her too, it all fell into place. Except Frankie asked her one thing: “So what now?” Well, that wasn’t part of her script… but Frankie then told her he would like to take her on a date, and they can start to get to know each other a bit better. About 6 months later, Frankie came over to ask Mollee’s dad, in the most awkward way possible, if he had permission to date his daughter. Mollee’s mom and she giggled and snooped on the conversation from the hallway, and Frankie passed the test. He then took Mollee on their first official date to frozen yogurt. Mollee and Frankie went on to date for part of junior year and all senior year. This then led them to the discussion of dating in college. They decided to give it a try as Mollee was attending the University of Arkansas and at the time, Frankie was attending Rockhurst University playing soccer. Frankie visited Mollee a few times, though they came to the difficult decision that long distance was hard and they had a lot of growing up to do. Frankie’s famous last words to Mollee were “I know that I am supposed to be with you”. Frankie and Mollee continued to talk and see each other though “broken up” until it all around got hard and they separated. They went 5 years without talking to each other. In that time, they graduated, met so many friends, developed into who they were, and started off their careers. Mollee later moved home from Arkansas, and as those 5 years passed, Frankie never left her mind. This led her to St. Patrick’s day 2024. She texted him that night a simple “hey Frankie, I know this is random but how are you doing?” Little did she know he was at the exact same bar that night when he opened the text, though they never saw each other. He texted her back which turned into talking on the phone. Frankie set up the first FaceTime date and Mollee scripted out all of what she was going to tell him. She told him she had been thinking about him and was happy they had started talking again. Frankie agreed and asked her the question: “so now what?” That “what” turned into picking up where they left off with long distance dating. And Frankie moved home from KC to be closer to Mollee. Which led to Frankie, not as awkwardly this time, asking Mollee's dad for her hand in marriage. Frankie and Mollee can not wait to continue their journey together as a married couple.
