Justin and Bella actually attended the same high school, The Kings Academy. At that time, Bella was a freshman and Justin was a senior. They were aware of each other but, due to the age difference, they were just names without any interactions. Fast forward 12 years later, they met one day on Peanut Island. Bella was invited on Bobby Mackenzie's boat, while Justin was on Danny Delgado's boat. Once they both arrived at their destination, they did not speak to each other for about 2 hours. Frankly, Bella thought Justin was just a white boy LOL ! A few hours went by and Bobby encouraged Justin to go talk to Bella. Initially, Bella wasn't very interested until Justin started playing some cumbia music (spanish music) and she noticed he was not only dancing but also singing ! She quickly went over to check it out and soon realized that Justin was actually Salvadorian — who knew ! A couple of hours later, they were engaged in conversation about everything under the sun: family, sports, interests — it was amazing ! Finally, as the sun was setting and the day was coming to an end, Justin invited Bella to his brother's house for a cookout that night. She accepted ! After that evening, they felt an instant connection and knew there was something more in store for their futures together. Fast forward, after 2.5 years of dating, Justin took Bella back to that exact spot on Peanut Island and proposed, asking, "Will you marry me ?" Finally, after less than a year of wedding planning, they will soon be able to say ... "I do."
