The wedding ceremony and reception will be at the same location, 15 Acres (25566 Bradbury Rd, Hockley, TX 77447). Yes, this venue is wheelchair accessible.
This venue has a private parking lot.
Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors. Guests will walk to the outdoor pavilion on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended. Cocktail hour will be outside under a pavilion on cement. The reception and dinner will be indoors.
Easter Sunday Church without the Church. But really, think Garden Party, Outdoor Spring Wedding, Semi-Formal, Cocktail, or Casual. My Girls We would encourage spring colors (pastel) for attire to match the theme or our wedding. If not already obvious, PLEASE DO NOT WEAR WHITE. Feel free to wear something fun and colorful and shows a little more leg or cleavage. We want you to look good and feel good at our wedding, so flaunt what you got and we're excited to see what you come in. The Boys A suit and tie or a sport coat. This dress code allows for colors outside of black or a dark suit is navy/grey. It also allows for mis-matched separates… so you can wear light grey pants with a navy sport coat, for example. You can even get away with a nice button-up and dress pants.
This is Houston, TX. Most of our guests are from here but for our out of towners, it can be anywhere from really cold, to beautiful, to in the 90s already during this time of year. The recommendation would be to check the weather the week of to see what needs to be brought (raincoat, sweater, heavier jacket). Our goal is for the weather to be in the 70s during this time with no rain, but we'll see!
This is an 18+ wedding. Do not bring your children and prepare for childcare for the afternoon!
We're having Vietnamese/Chinese family-style food for the reception. This will be a 8 course meal with a little bit of everything from chicken, to seafood, and everything in between. We will try to accommodate for dietary preferences and allergies.
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception. We will also have mocktails for our guests who are not looking to drink.
Please see our registry if you'd like to send us a wedding gift. We're requesting funds for our honeymoon to Japan and would appreciate any amount you're looking to give us! For guests who would like to bring red envelopes & lì xì, the bride and groom will be walking around during dinner to collect envelopes or you can drop your envelopes in our box at the sign-in table.
We're having an unplugged wedding during the ceremony. Please turn off or put your phones on mute during our ceremony. We'll have a photographer and videographer on site for the ceremony and reception if you'd like to look at videos and pictures later. Please note if you do decide to pull your phone out during our ceremony, the bride has no filter and WILL go bridezilla on you. Feel free to take photos for the rest of the duration of the wedding.
