We're Getting Married!

We met on AOL when chat rooms were a thing and dating websites were nonexistent. I remember being so opposed to online dating and wanting the sort of serendipitous fairytale story behind meeting my future husband. Well, our story is a little different than your average fairytale. Moises lived in Miami while I lived in Orlando. We were friends before we fell in love. We clicked so well, despite the distance. So we decided to meet in person Moises drove 4 hours from Miami to meet me in person for the first time and we’ve been together ever since. We were super excited and knew we were meant for each other.

We decided to make our first date an outdoor adventure by going tubing downstream at Kelly Park in Wekiva Springs. My tube decided to float off-stream into the murky bushy part of the stream. I freaked out and tried to paddle back to the stream but I was so afraid that I would flip over and get caught with the lily pads, mud, and alligators....yea alligators. I literally cried. But of course, Moises came to the rescue and that was a wrap! Best 1st date ever!
