We feel we met by accident, but we are sure it was all God’s Plan. Moises is keeping steady that Heather “hunted him down”, as she did 90% of the traveling in our long-distance relationship for the first year. Now Heather counters in asking whom is hunting whom, as Moises relocated from Oklahoma to Kansas to be with her.

Moises proposed at home on February 14, 2023. February 14 is his late mom (Maria’s) birthday and a very special day in our lives. Heather (like always) was at work living her most unpredictable life, and had text him twice saying she was still delayed. Moises patiently waited during the over 2-hour delay, and was on one knee when Heather walked in the door. The proposal was perfect for us, in our own home, no audience needed. However, we are ready for an audience, and we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
