We met in 10th grade biology class. We sat next to each other and would pass snarky notes back and forth when the teacher would write notes on the board. After a few months of waiting by lockers, shy flirting during labs, and endless text messaging, we finally went out on our first date, and the rest was history. We went from prom dates to soul mates! And we both are so grateful that our first love grew into a forever love.

St. Patrick's Day is all the more special now! After being tricked into thinking she was going into the city with a friend, Catherine returned to her parent's home to grab a coat, just to find the house was filled with roses and handmade mason jar lanterns, with Tangled music playing in the background. In the middle of all of this was David, waiting with a ring. Catherine of course said yes. The evening was filled with happy tears, celebrating with families, endless desserts, and a pair of Ed Sheeran tickets.
