Six years ago, Erin and Greg met at Vanguard, where casual hallway chats and weekly team happy hours quickly turned into a more meaningful relationship. Erin, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, and Greg, who grew up in North Carolina, might have started out on opposite coasts, but they quickly discovered they shared a love for competition and camaraderie, especially when it came to sports. Two years ago, they started to build a home together, and Greg became Erin’s biggest supporter as she pursued her MBA, providing encouragement and plenty of late-night study snacks. In November, while Erin was on a girls’ trip to Toronto to catch the end of Taylor Swift’s tour, Greg secretly flew across the country to ask her parents for their blessing. A few months later, during a summer trip to Sweden, he got down on one knee and asked Erin to marry him, marking the start of their next great adventure.
