Black Tie Optional We invite you to dress for a formal evening. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome, but not required. A dark suit and tie or an elegant cocktail dress are perfectly appropriate.
There is a small parking lot at St. Rita's. If you can ride-share, carpool, or walk, we recommend this! Otherwise, street parking is available surrounding the church if the lot is full. **Transportation will not be provided to St. Rita's** From any of the hotels surrounding City Hall, walking to St Rita's would be approximately 25 minutes and less than a 10-minute drive.
The ceremony at St Rita's will begin promptly at 2 pm. A professional Philadelphia vocalist will provide a compilation of prelude music 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. We encourage you to arrive early to enjoy!
Transportation will be provided from the Notary Hotel only. If you choose to stay elsewhere you can still partake in the shuttle services but will need to make your way to the Notary to do so! THE SHUTTLE WILL DEPART FROM THE NOTARY HOTEL AT ROUGHLY 4:25-4:30 PM. Look for a yellow school bus with Kaiser/Sun Wedding in the window. Departure will occur from the 13th Street entrance to the hotel.
Should you choose to drive, there is only street parking surrounding the venue. There are some local parking lots in the area that you can pay for! Please note that it may be challenging to find parking on a Saturday night. Please account for extra time to find street parking- we don't want you to miss cocktail hour! When it's time to make your way to the reception, we recommend ride share or using the shuttle service. Lilah is roughly a 15-minute drive from City Hall and the hotels.
Cocktail Hour will begin at 5 pm! Shuttle times have been arranged to have guests arriving in time for the start. If you find yourself in the venue area well before 5, there are plenty of bars to pop into! We recommend Next of Kin, Murph's, Two Robbers, R&D Cocktail Bar, Four Humors Distilling, Punch Buggy Brewing, and Pearls on the Corner. You really cannot go wrong with any of the bars on Frankford Ave!
Dinner will be served in a shared, family-style format, allowing guests to enjoy a variety of dishes together. Food with primarily be Mediterranean (lamb, chicken, vegetables, etc). If you have an allergy you want us to be aware of, please let us know when you RSVP.
