St. Vrain Greenway
Take a stroll or a bike ride on this path alongside the mighty St. Vrain through the heart of Longmont.
Celestial Seasonings Tea House
Visit the Celestial Seasonings tea headquarters outside Boulder for free tastings and a fun tour!
NCAR Mesa Laboratory
Perched atop the Boulder foothills, NCAR offers a small, free, interactive visitor center, nearby hiking trails, and outstanding views.
City of Longmont Museum
Free museum with exhibits on the history of Longmont and the surrounding area.
Eldorado Canyon State Park
A great nearby state park with hiking and climbing trails, $8/day entry fee.
Brainard Lake Recreational Area
Another great (and also busy) hiking spot close to Boulder and Longmont, check website for current fees.
Golden Ponds Park
We often go for walks here in the late afternoon. Picturesque park on the west side of Longmont with a mile long walking path, attached to the Greenway.
Coot Lake
One of our most frequented parks, features a walking trail around a fishing pond and wetland with outstanding views of the Front Range mountains.
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse
Great for a meal, a cup of tea, or just a quick look - this tea house was hand built in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Avery Brewing Company
Scott's favorite CO craft brewery, offers pints and flights of many Avery beers along with a full restaurant and free tours.
