For those who are visiting a mosque for the first time, here are some etiquettes important to know...
- Remove shoes before entering the prayer area. Wearing socks is recommended.
- Modest attire is required for all guests. Shoulders and knees should be covered. Clothes should not be tight or too revealing. For women, it is recommended, but not required, to cover your hair.
- When entering the prayer area, try not to walk in front of people who are praying.
- Don't eat or drink inside the prayer area.
- Genders sit separately.
