"It feels like we've known each other from heaven" - ref. Genesis 5:2, Genesis 2:22. However, we didn't know God has a better plan for us. Before we met physically, we were friends on social media for a while - Facebook on which we had mutual friends. Eventually, we met in person at a youth revival program at Apostolic Faith Church Washington DC. After the program, I asked Morenike to go for a walk up the hill of Branch Avenue and we talked briefly, however, we lost touch for no apparent reason, later on, still, prayers went up in the air to God for His will to be done. God answered our prayers in 2019 and we built up a strong friendship, realizing the chemistry between us was unbeatable; we had much in common other than being best friends. 2020 was a lock-down year allowing us to get to know more about each other. We spent more time praying and read many chapters in the bible learning a lot of lessons. There are many characters in the bible we have in mind to give their names to our children. It was such an amazing year during which we also listened to amazing songs though 'Duduke' By Simi is our favorite. On February 26, 2021, I took a bold step, Morenike's birthday was coming up but she did not know a huge surprise was coming! My friend thought I was going to work but to her surprise, I had planned a birthday party/proposal event for her which she said was the best surprise ever. During the event, I went down on one knee, asked her to be my wife and she said YES! Then I put a ring on her finger which was such an amazing moment for both of us as friends cheered us on. And here we are getting ready for the big occasion, YAY! It is our wedding and YES! we have forever to go. Truly we are TWO BECOMING ONE! A Psalm of David, "Wait on the Lord: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: Wait. I say. on the Lord." It is beautiful to fall in love with the right person and much more when God is involved - #MOFOLUWANIKE
