We met in 4th grade and developed a friendship when we realized we both loved Pokémon and Spongebob. Years later, in 12th grade, our friendship grew more and more, we realized we were both attending the same college and started spending all of our time together. The love grew from there.

It was Christmas Day at Disney World and we had spent hours upon hours walking, going on rides, and making droids at Galaxy’s Edge. We wanted to see the fireworks but by the time we got on the bus it was too late, Sam insisted we go to Magic Kingdom and see if there would be another show, just in case. My feet were killing but Sam said we had to get a photo in front of the castle before we left. Luckily, there was one more show before they closed for the night. With my feet killing me, I stood through a light show so we could take the photo and finally go back to the hotel and sleep. After the show, Sam asked an employee to take our photo in front of the castle. Being Sam, he looked at me and said, “Well buddy, it’s a magical night...” And I knew at that moment he was proposing. The next thing I know he’s on one knee asking if I’d marry him and I said “OF COURSE!”
