Jessica & Sam met through their best friends on a State Street bar crawl at UW-Madison. They became inseparable over the Summer of 2016 in Madison, and made it official that Fall after a road trip to Six Flags where Jess found out that Sam knew all of the words to her favorite Taylor Swift songs. After college, they started a life together in Chicago. Shortly thereafter, they began building their little family with the addition of their first born, Rue (Munchie) Ferdig the Aussiedoodle. In 2023, they celebrated the purchase of their first house together in the Chicago suburbs. A year later, while on a layover in Paris, Sam proposed after dinner on the Siene. The next day they began their "engagement-moon" celebration together in Greece. After a decade together, Jess and Sam are looking forward to many more decades together as husband and wife.
