Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

At the start of the ceremony, our officiant will make an announcement for you to take as many pictures as you would like. After that time, we ask that you not take any more, so our photographers can capture the rest of the ceremony with ease. Please do take pictures during the cocktail hour and reception! We would love for you to send them to us, so we can look through them the next morning.

Where can I park?

Answer

You can park in the parking lot across Main Street from the abbey for free. To be put another way, the photographer of the picture above was standing in said parking lot.

When does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:30. Please feel free to arrive as early as 2:00 so as not to be late.

What does the timeline look like for the day?

Answer

The cocktail hour will begin just after the ceremony and the reception after that. No need for travel in between!

What's on the menu?

Answer

Salt + Smoke is our caterer, and they are bringing brisket, pulled pork, turkey, mac & cheese, Caesar salad, and bacon wrapped meatballs. There will also be individual bags of garlic ranch seasoned pretzels at the cocktail hour.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You'll be missed! If you can't make it, please RSVP "no" as soon as possible, so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd, please let Connor, Katie, or one of their moms (Dolores or Sheri) know.

What is the dress code?

Answer

There will probably be a wide variety of dress at our wedding which we're totally fine with! If you're looking for some direction, we suggest sundresses for ladies and dress shirt/tie/dress pants for guys, but we're good with whatever, as long as it's not white! ;)

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle to utilize at the end of the night, so please make arrangements for everyone to get home safely!
