We both grew up in Southington and met so long ago that we don't actually remember when we first met. But then in 2016, Mo's best friend from college was dating (and is now married to!) a wonderful man whose sister was marrying Ryan's best friend! (It's ok, you can re-read that six times and still not follow it.) It took us eighteen months and Mo stopping in Hawaii for a week on the way home from South Korea, but we finally figured out that this was meant to be. After three years of long distance with home states of Hawaii, North Carolina, Connecticut, and California... add in a deployment to Iraq in the midst of a global pandemic... all of it leading to a perfectly, wonderfully weird proposal in Shenandoah National Park with a ring that includes diamonds from Mo's Grandma and Great-Grandma. And now a life together (finally!) in Corning, New York. The journey has been winding and weird, but every single one of you has played a part in it, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!
