Athens typically has warm and sunny weather during September. Pack light, comfortable clothing, sun hats, and sunscreen. Don't forget an extra jacket - just in case!

Greeks are known for their hospitality. It's customary to greet with a handshake and to say thank you ('efcharisto') and please ('parakalo'). In restaurants, tipping around 5-10% is appreciated, but not mandatory!
