Morgan and Nick first met at Ralston Valley High School in August of 2016. Nick and Morgan had their first date at a Rockies baseball game; where Nick asked Morgan to prom written on a baseball. Though they later parted ways after high school graduation, it was not the end for these two. Instead the beginning of a beautiful love story bringing them back together almost exactly seven years later. It was the evening of November 23, 2024 that Nick prayed to Saint Joseph pleading for his next relationship to finally be the woman he would marry. Placing a sticky note with this prayer under a clay figure of Saint Joseph, Nick went to bed hopeful. He woke up from a deep sleep at two the following morning with Morgan Wall, his high school sweetheart he hadn’t seen in seven years, weighing heavily on his mind. He wondered if she was okay and reached out later that same day. Morgan, also holding onto this continuous hope to find the one she would marry, began to feel less confident with every heartache. She took a long and much needed break from dating. Instead, she focused on her health and poured herself back into Jesus. It was many months later that she received a text message that changed everything. The two reconnected over many days via messenger and FaceTime. They had dinner with no intention of dating but only to catch up on the last seven years they spent apart. However, God had a better plan leading Morgan and Nick on their first date on December 10th of 2024, Morgan coming into the Catholic Church and growing deeper in her lifelong faith, and nine months later Nick proposing at a Rockies vs. Giants baseball game with “Will you marry me?” written on a baseball. Nick and I are so blessed to share with you our beautiful love story written by God. But even more so, we are very grateful to share another beginning, together with you!
